The Yang di-Pertua Negeri of Sabah (also known as the Governor of Sabah) is the ceremonial head of state of the Malaysian state of Sabah. He is appointed by the Yang di-Pertuan Agong on the advice of the Chief Minister.[1] The Yang di-Pertua Negeri is styled Tuan Yang Terutama (TYT), meaning His Excellency.
